These plastic-handled files have very small teeth which make them suitable for precision work or for preparing the stone surface before using sandpaper and for polishing. They are suitable for shaping stones that measure up to hardness 2 on the Mohs hardness scale including Alabaster, Serpentine and especially suitable for greasy type stone such as Soapstone.
