Painting & Palette Knives

Palette knives are a blunt tool with a flexible blade used for mixing colours, applying paint or cleaning the surface of the palette. A palette knife handle is generally straight, having at most a slight bend.

Painting knives, as the name suggests are primarily painting tools. They are used to create a variety of effects and finishes. They have a deep bend or crank in the handle that keeps the artists hand/knuckles out of the paint when painting.
