Tiede clay is ideal for modelling pieces with character (ie. rougher texture) or for larger works. Due to its extraordinary plasticity, it is also very suitable for modelling and sculpture. It contains 40% coarser grog (0-0.5 mm) which provides excellent behavior during drying and firing. It is perfect for hobby ceramics because it has a wide firing range from 1000ºC to 1300ºC while developing a range of colors from lilac to toasted brown, with shades that enhances any relief features. The amazing firing colour at 1240ºC to 1300ºC (cone 6-10) with different tones highlights any relief features and becomes an ideal artistic means of expression.
