Sakura Expressionist oil pastels exhibit very good lightfastness and are extremely smooth and easy to apply. The extra fine quality pigments, oil and wax have been specially formulated for very smooth drawing. Expressionist oil pastels are suitable for many surfaces like canvas, wood, cardboard, paper and are ideal for techniques such as rubbings, blending, gradations, scratch back, watercolour resists, overlaying and general sketching.
