Richeson Cotton Canvas Hardboard Panels have a soft tooth finish, making them the perfect painting surface for oils, alkyds, acrylics, casein and other water-based paints. They are mounted on high-density, tempered hardboard which provides them with a high degree of water and warp resistance. The panels are coated with 2 layers of premium acrylic gesso which acts as an archival barrier between the hardboard and canvas. The canvas is triple-primed and adhered to to the board with archival, acid-free glue.
