Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pads

A 360gsm, premium card surface specially developed for pastellists. Its unique velvety surface, made from a fine coating of cellulose fibres, has the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of even the softest pastels. You are able to apply multiply layers without a saturation effect which significantly reduces the need for fixative, allowing the colours to remain vibrant and bright. It has the added bonus of being gentle on both fingers and blending tools. It is acid free and lightfast. It is also water resistant which means that it can be used with wet media - such as acrylics and watercolour for washes and mixed media techniques.
Available in 18x24cm, 24x30cm & 30x40cm sized pads.
Pads contain 12 sheets.
Pad No. 1 - 3 sheets each of Maize, Buttercup, Light Grey, Dark Grey.
Pad No. 2 - 3 sheets each of White, Sienna, Brown and Anthracite
Pad No. 3 - 12 sheets of White.
Pad No. 4 - 3 sheets each of Dark Blue, Light Blue, Burgundy, Sand
Pad No. 5 - 3 sheets each of Dark Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, White
Pad No. 6 - 12 sheets of Anthracite.
Pad No. 7 - 3 sheets each of Beige, Sand, Sanguine, Charcoal grey
