Cretacolor Artists Carre Pastels are manufactured from high quality natural and synthetic pigments and are similar in composition to un-fired chalk sticks. They offer a high degree of light resistance and stability and are suitable for both amateur and professional artists. They are semi-hard and yet blend easily with minimal dusting. Their square shape allows broad strokes and fine detail to be achieved.
