Awagami Editioning Papers are crafted with the artistry and knowledge obtained over 300 years of Washi papermaking. The fibres are skilfully combined, yielding Washi with highly unique textures and expressive characteristics. All Washi in this collection feature 4 feathery deckled edges that add a subtle refinement to finished works. Awagami Editioning Papers are acid-free, archival and made with strict attention to quality and preservation.

The heavier 110gsm weight, relative thickness, generous sizing and easy to use colour of Awagami Shrimine paper makes it a versatile paper for many art mediums including printmaking, painting and drawing. Shiramine Select paper is manufactured from 55% alpha cellulose, 30% Kozo and 15% hemp fibre. It is acid-free with a pH level of 7-8.
