Artools Aquatint & Protective Varnish | 125ml

This varnish forms a very tough, protective coating for the backs and borders of plates. It is highly resistant to acid, heat and additional scratching of the plate's back surface. It also serves as an excellent stop-out varnish. It dries well and allows remarkable nuancing. The most diluted applications become extremely pastel-like mezzotint, while thick applications result in perfect whites. The bottle is supplied complete with safety cap.
