The Rexy was conceived by Roger Jullian in the late 1950's as a field easel which would have the features of the original French Box Easel but could be used as a stable watercolour easel that could also double as a lightweight easel for sketching and oil painting. Manufactured from premium quality European beechwood and fitted with durable brass palted metal fittings, the Rexy easel is compact, lightweight and adjustable to suit canvases up to 80cm in height plus most watercolour and sketching block sizes. This Artist Collection easel is suppied complete with a Jullian shoulder travel bag plus a set o 3 brass plated leg spikes for all-terrain painting. Also available is an optional quick-attach paintbox complete with palette that can also be accommodated in the smaller pocket of the carry bag. Dimensions (closed) 75x280x570mm - weight 2kg.
